….And as I was saying my goodbye to Buster, My Guy’s best friend in Greenville, Charlie, was undergoing emergency surgery for a stroke following other complications. The doctors were heroic and after four- and -a -half hours had taken miraculous measures to save his life. During the night though his brain began to swell, and they could not relieve the pressure. He died at 6 a.m.exactly 12 hours after Buster. He leaves three adoring sons, a loving wife and many, many people who called him best friend. He kept his humor until the end wondering out loud how this would affect his golf game. Charlie was my favorite among My Guy’s friends, a person who was equally brilliant and compassionate and feeling at the same time. At 53 in heaven with the Angels. I think of all the people in my life who are with the Angels and truly feel our Mother/Father God selects special, special people to continue their work from the other side. Many Blessings to all who have gone before us.
And the reminder once again to LIVE, LAUGH and LOVE in every single moment. In the end, all that matters is if you LOVED enough. So to all my friends, and especially to my daughter I LOVE YOU! Thank you for your tributes to Buster. They are all very, very moving.
