It’s the New Year.
Of course, like you probably, I’m going on a diet. Only this time I’m putting myself on a different kind of diet. I’m calling it a manifestation diet.
Normally I’m full of excitement for the New Year to begin, to renew my energy and reveal my future intentions.
This year I feel flat. Not depressed or sad. Just flat. I know what I want without the energy or inclination to move toward those intentions. I had a five-step process preparing myself (and you) for 2025, and it just felt too overwhelming to start there.
To be honest, the intensity of the election leading right into the Thanksgiving holidays did a number on me. I barely had time to feel the feels and then expected myself to be in gratitude when I mostly felt numb.
It’s also probably one of those be careful what you wish for kind of things. I had the best holiday season reconnecting with old friends, meeting new friends, being with family, and receiving many social invitations. I cooked up a storm, heavy holiday favorites, and was also gifted an abundance of cookies and sweets. Not my usual fare.
While I continued to walk the dog, I opted out of my gym routine to get the holiday and grocery shopping done, cook, clean, host, yadayadayada. I was tired of the gym and wanted a break anyway.
Now here I am, BLAH. SLUGGISH. WEIGHTED down. That’s how I feel. My intuition is not at its optimum. Can sugar and wine block your pineal gland? I think they might.
Being 100 percent ready on January 1 never really worked for me either. I need to ease into it, get open to receive and allow my desires to present themselves in a co-creative kind of way.
So, here’s my plan. I’m putting myself on a Manifestation Diet.
I’m starting simple because that’s just where I’m at right now. You know water reflects your mood or what you speak to it, right? I’m taking a glass of water and labeling it with my current reality. Then I’m taking another glass of water and labeling it with my future desires. I will be specific about this. Adding a little lemon for absorption and extra hydration is good.
Then I’m going to pour my desires into my reality and drink it up for seven days.
Simple does not mean any less powerful. During these seven days I will be aware of synchronicities aligning with my desires and make note of them.
